Selena Gomez just released her new single "Same Old Love" and rumors are spreading that it's about her former flame Justin Bieber.
As reported by Hollywood Life, the 23-year old pop star just showcased her new video for "Same Old Love" and it's getting good praises.
Regarding the meaning of "Same Old Love," there are speculations that it's about her famous on-again, off-again relationship with the "What Do You Mean?" singer.
The opening verse "Take away your things and go/You can't take back what you said, I know/I've heard it all before, at least a million times/I'm not one to forget, you know" seemed to be directly pointed at Bieber.
It also features lyrics like "you left in peace, left me in pieces" and includes emotionally charged imagery.
According to The Daily Mail, before the official release of the video, Gomez shared a sneak peek of it on her social media accounts. "Same Old Love" made had its full debut on the new Apple Music service.
As for the video, Selena Gomez was spotted rocking a low-cut little black dress, paired with matching boots as she does a rather raunchy dance. Check it out here:
As reported, the video, directed by Michael Haussman, was filmed at the Palace Theater in Downtown Los Angeles last week, during Gomez's special fan event.
During the event, Gomez told her fans, "This is a new chapter for me. I'm sure most of you know that. You guys have been the most consistent thing in my life and my career. This is all for you."
According to People, "Same Old Love" also features vocals from Charli XCX, known for the hit "Break The Rules," who also co-wrote the song.
Selena Gomez's "Same Old Love" will be included on her album "Revival," which is due to be released on Oct. 9.
