Rob Kardashian certainly knew how to set the online world on fire after he shared a screenshot of a text conversation he had been having with Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend. Speculations about them swirled on the Internet after followers assumed that they were dating.
On his Instagram post, Rob Kardashian teased the possibility of a budding romance with Karrueche Tran. According to Design & Trend, he also suggested sharing a close relationship with Chris Brown's ex-ladylove.
"I like when she send me pictures," Kardashian captioned the screenshot photo of their text conversation, which has a close-up photo of the 27-year-old model, on Instagram.
The Instagram pic was uploaded on Tuesday night but has now been deleted after it prompted thousands of "likes" and several reactions from Rob Kardashian's social media followers. Daily Mail noted that the photo-sharing was a bold move for Kris Jenner's reclusive son since Karrueche Tran's ex-beau Chris Brown has apparently threatened men, who are either romantically linked to or making online remarks to her, to back off.
Chris Brown's threats came after Karrueche Tran received some flattering compliments from R&B star Marques Houston when she shared a sexy bikini photo of herself lounging by the pool. Houston's remarks caught the attention of Brown's crew, who promptly made a threat by posting a photo of automatic firearms.
Unfortunately, Tran was already tired of Brown's threatening antics and even called her ex a "hypocrite."
"I don't get it because I'm single," she told TMZ. "I thought we have all matured and moved on. Especially since Chris has been seen with multiple women since the breakup. I don't want anything to do with any type of violence or negativity."
On Monday, however, Karrueche Tran was once again dragged in an online feud between her ex Chris Brown and rapper Drake after the latter mentioned the ex-couple in his mixtape, "What A Time To Be Alive."
Since 2011, ex-couple Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran had been in an on-and-off again relationship. Eventually, Tran broke things off for good after she discovered earlier this year that the "Loyal" singer fathered a daughter named Royalty with another woman.
Meanwhile, Rob Kardashian reportedly hated the online excitement and rumors his Instagram post had cause. So, he returned to the social media platform and change his caption, spelling out his relationship status with Karreuche Tran as well as dislike over the online uproar, Us Weekly reported.
"Yall dumb af," Kardashian wrote. "I been Friends with Karoooooch since high school. F--k outta here with your negative s-t."
After spending much of his time hiding away from the spotlight, the Instagram share of Karrueche Tran's text photo is the latest in a recent spurt of online activity from Rob Kardashian.
