Wesley Snipes, an actor, film producer and martial artist with a net worth of $10 million, is currently making headlines after his infamous vampire-hunting role in the "Blade" trilogy is reportedly making a comeback after more than 10 years. In fact, "The Player" actor is hoping that Marvel Studios could make a project in which Blade can team up with the Earth's mightiest heroes, "The Avengers."
Despite his busy schedule promoting his new television series, "The Player," Wesley Snipes, whose $10 million net worth is soon to increase, candidly talked about his hopes on resurrecting his most notable roles as the Daywalker in "Blade." According to Cinema Blend, he teased the potential in seeing Blade collaborating with Captain America and the rest of "The Avengers" team.
"That would be interesting," Snipes told The Huffington Post. "I mean, I know it's in the comic book. It would be interesting to see where they would place him and where he really would fit in. He's got to bite somebody. I don't know who he's going to bite."
Last month, rumors have it that the latest "Blade" comic book series was of keen interest to Marvel Studios as the basis for a new film. And Wesley Snipes, who has a net worth of $10 million as listed by The Richest, revealed that he has taken meetings with the studios' executives back in July. However, nothing has been confirmed yet as the 53-year-old actor explained that things are currently still in the planning stages.
"There's always a possibility, you know," Snipes said, as per Screen Rant. "It's in Marvel's hands. They're controlling the pace and the flow with that. Conversations have been good. They see the value in it. We see the value in it. I'm still in shape enough and fit enough to handle the role. We'll see how it goes. I don't really know what's going to happen to it yet."
It seems that Marvel is keen on adding Wesley Snipes' "Blade" back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe since in the comics, the day-walking vampire hunter has had been part of the Mighty Avengers going by the moniker Ronin. But he only officially joined the team in the Ultimate comics, where he helped Nick Fury try and stop a vampire invasion.
Meanwhile, Wesley Snipes' $10 million net worth as listed by Celebrity Net Worth is partly attributed to his character in the "Blade" trilogy films. As per Coming Soon, Snipes has helped shepherd comic books and superheroes to the big screen and has brought in over $400 million at the global box office for the three films.
Do you think Wesley Snipes' net worth will further increase with "Blade's" apparent reboot?
