For every coffee lover out there, there's good news from Starbucks. To reduce the time you spend waiting for your orders, your favorite coffee house added a new feature via its Starbucks mobile app.
According to Starbucks, the app is "now serving great features." You can use it to track and earn Rewards. It lets you pay an order. It also enables you to add funds to your Starbucks Card and check your balance.
You can get free apps, songs and more with Pick of the Week. You can also use the app to send gift cards. And just recently, the app now lets you customize, pay and order ahead with Mobile Order & Pay too.
MSN stated that, "Starbucks has rolled out an Order & Pay feature after a successful dry run in a selection of US states." The new feature is now available on Android devices, having previously been limited to iOS. You can now walk in without waiting in line and ask a barista for your order at your desired pickup area.
So how do you use the Starbucks mobile app's Mobile Order & Pay? Here are the steps.
1. You have to download the app. Search through your Google Play to find the latest Starbucks app for Android and through App Store for iPhone.
2. After running the app, enable the location services.
3. Click on the "ORDER" button at the upper right of the screen.
4. Choose the beverage and food you want to order. Just like in stores, you can also customize your beverages, even the size, dairy selections, number of espresso shots and more using this app.
5. Choose the store you want for pick up. Direction is also available if needed.
6. Confirm your transaction by clicking "order." Payment is made through customer's registered Starbucks Card.
7. Proceed to your selected Starbucks store to pick up your orders.
"Bringing Mobile Order and Pay to our customers is about meeting their needs of convenience and customization at any time of the day," Adam Brotman Starbucks chief digital officer said, Starbucks Newsroom quoted.
Isn't it lovely how we can now enjoy your favorite Starbucks food and beverages with less hassle? Why not try the app now?
