Sting Injury Still Awaiting Prognosis; WWE Fighter To Retire?

Sting, fresh from his fight against WWE Champion Seth Rollins, spoke about the alleged injury he sustained during the match.

At about 12 minutes during the match, viewers see Rollins carrying Sting and then throwing him in the corner where he, in an unscripted moment, hit the back of his neck hard. Though he did go on with the match, there was a moment where the referee checked him if he was okay.

WWE.com sat down with the iconic wrestler and asked him about his injury. Sting said, "Aside from a stiff neck, I'm a little banged up, but otherwise, I feel good. Pretty standard after wrestling a match like that."

He was also asked about the extent of his injury and Sting said: "Bottom line, I had tingling, numbness down both arms, all the way to my fingertips. And then, later in the match, I just fell wrong, whatever it was, and this time [the tingling and numbness] went down both arms and into my legs, and I couldn't feel my legs too well. "

He further added, "They just felt like rubber. I don't know how to describe it. I had to go down on all fours there for a minute, get my composure. I was a little ... I was worried. Long term, well, I'm just going to take care of the short term first and see how the long term might play out."

According to Wrestle Zone, Sting has undergone a CT scan and an MRI to check about the extent of the injury. Doctors also talked to his wife that he still has further evaluation that he needs to go through.

As reported by Bleacher Report, when asked whether his match with Seth Rollins would be his last WWE match, the wrestler declined to give a definitive answer and just said, "I hate it when I'm asked that question because the answer truly is a question mark, and the question mark is as bold as it could ever be at this point,"
