"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premiered last night and as a recap, Rebecca's killer was uncovered.
"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premiere did not disappoint #TGIT followers who awaited Emmy Award winner Viola Davis' character Annalise Keating and her "Keating Five."
A recap of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premiere revealed Annalise spending half the episode searching to sabotage a rival firm's defense of twenty something twins accused of their adoptive parents' death.
After Annalise gets the case, the camera shifts to an eerie scene of the twin girl burning up her dead parents' oil painting. A two month time jump showed gunfires coming from the twins' estate with a glimpse of Wes running away from the scene and a bleeding Annalise holding on to dear life. No worries, Annalise survived as, obviously, she can't die since she's the star of the show.
Also, Annalise and Frank made a trap in order to determine if Wes was responsible for Rebecca's death. As Annalise had hoped, he's innocent. TV Line revealed she later figured out that Rebecca's killer was Bonnie, who was less repentant in placing an electrical tape over Rebecca's mouth and suffocating her to death with a clear plastic bag over her head. This led to Annalise to call her right-hand woman, Bonnie, a monster.
Despite solving Rebecca's killer within "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premiere's first hour, it didn't dampen the full-speed unraveling of the series. According to Entertainment Weekly, the arrival of Eve Rothlow, played by Famke Janssen, may lead to complications for Annalise and her "Keating Five."
Rothlow, who's defending Nate, is one of Annalise's old friends in college. Add to that, the identity of the recipient of Rebecca's last text messages, the strange "Eggs 911."
Meanwhile, "How To Get Away With Murder" showrunner Pete Nowalk told TV Guide that Season 2 will not follow last season's format of past-catching-up-to-present. He said, "I don't want it to feel exactly the same as last year, but we will continue to tell stories in a nontraditional way."
"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 will have Amy Okuda, Matt Cohen and Kendrick Sampson as guest stars.
"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 airs every Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
