"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2016, and it has been rumored that Warner Bros. will be releasing not just one, but two new trailers without Wonder Woman, who will be played by Gal Gadot.
A source said that the teasers for DC's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will air on Oct. 26, Heroic Hollywood learned. One clip will be shown during "Supergirl's" premiere on CBS, and it will focus solely on Superman.
"Gotham," which will be airing on the same night on Fox, will feature a minute long "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" sneak peek focusing on Batman. The site, which also broke the news of the trailer event hosted on Imax theaters in April, additionally noted that the two trailers would lead to a full length one, which is expected to premiere in November.
The site could be wrong. However, according to We Got This Covered, the approach is reasonable for Warner Bros. to take.
The rumors are yet to be confirmed. However, if proven right, it could probably be the coolest way to market those trailers.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Henry Cavill, who will be playing Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck, who will take the role of the billionaire Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Joining these Hollywood A-listers are Amy Adams to play Lois Lane, Jason Momoa, who will be taking Aquman's character, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who will be playing Thomas Wayne.
Jeremy Irons will also be joining the cast as the Wayne's trusted butler, Alfred Pennyworth, as per the report of the Inquisitr. Diane Lane will play as Martha Kent, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Jesse Eisenberg as Superman's nemesis, Lex Luthor.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will bow to the theaters on March 25, 2016.
