We hope you're enjoying your cup of coffee because International Coffee Day is fast approaching and tomorrow will be NATIONAL Coffee Day!
Enjoying a good "cup of Joe" has been the morning ritual for most people all over the world. Some even say that they cannot get things done without the sweet jolt that coffee gives.
In a related report by the Toronto Sun, 44 percent of people from British Columbia said that drinking a fresh brew of coffee is the first thing they do after waking up. Showering, getting ready for work and even looking at their messages need to wait until after they have coffee.
To celebrate our affinity for this beloved drink, we'll tell you some of the places that gives out a FREE cup.
As reported by Lifehacker, two of the largest donut and coffee chains are giving free coffee. In Dunkin' Donuts, customers can get a free medium cup of Dunkin' Donuts hot or iced dark roast coffee, but, there's a limit of one per person.
Krispy Kreme, on the other hand, let customers get a free small coffee and even a free original glazed donut. For those who like their coffee cold and ready, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is offering all sizes of their iced coffee, flavored iced coffee and iced Americanos for half the price, all day.
In a similar note, USA Today said that Peet's Coffee & Tea also gives out a free small cup of Peet's Major Dickason Blend, provided that you purchase any of their baked goods, oatmeal or fresh food items.
But the greatest deal has to be from Wawa Coffee who gives out free coffee in the size of your choice.
However, these freebies and discounts are usually on selected participating branches only, so to avoid getting stiffed, better ask first before going there and demanding your cup!
The official date for International Coffee Day is October 1 while National Coffee Day is Sept. 29.
