“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12 Episode 2 will tackle women empowerment as Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) joined several of the women handling their respective department’s at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) heads Pediatrics, Callie (Sara Ramirez) Orthopedics, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) who replaced her brother Derek heads Neurology and Meredith’s sister Maggie (Kelly McCreary) for Cardiology.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that actress Chandra Wilson said the show, which kickstarts #TGIT every Thursday nights, emphasized that people gets to reach their heart’s desire because they “deserve” to be where they’re at. “I don't think that people should ask what's going to be different about a hospital run by women — it's going to get run, that's what's going to happen."
Birthday girl Sarah Drew who portrays Dr. April Kepner also stated, "The number of female surgeons has surged since the beginning of this show — and that's insane," Sarah Drew (April) says. "The fact that we get to go to work and change the world a little bit? It's pretty nuts."
Speaking of Sarah Drew, “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12 Episode 2 will also tackle how her character, Dr. April Kepner became patient zero as shown on the teaser trailer posted on the show’s Facebook page. The video started with Sara Drew’s character inside the locker room changing from her street clothes to her scrubs.
She was having a conversation with Arizona about her work and travel when suddenly, she stood up and removed her shirt. All hell broke loose as Arizona saw the telltale rashes on her back. The next scene showed her inside the isolation room where she will be kept until all the results from her diagnostic tests come back.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12 Episode 2 is titled “Walking Tall,” as per ABC.
