Caleb Logan’s cause of death has been in the question of many after the YouTube star passed away at the young age of 13 last week, leaving fans of the Brataylays shocked.
Though the demise of Caleb Logan Bratayley continues to pique the curiosity of many, authorities have already ruled out foul play from the picture, as per People. But this, all the more, contributes to the mystery on what really caused the 13-year-old's death.
On Friday, the Brataylays took to Instagram to break the sad news to their fans that Caleb Logan passed away in their Maryland home of "natural causes."
Alongside a snap of a smiling Caleb, the family wrote a message, asking fans who "eagerly" wait for their new videos regularly to bear with them in this difficult time that they've lost the "incredibly funny, loving and wonderful" YouTuber.
A day prior the post, the Anne Arundel County Police Department went to the Brataylay's residence after receiving a call over a "medical emergency."
Hollywood Life tried to make sense of the mysterious passing of the young YouTube star by speaking with a doctor on what could possibly be the "natural causes" that led to Caleb Logan's death.
"The most common cause of death, in order, between the ages of 10 and 14 are: An accident, cancer, suicide, homicide, congenital anomalies (birth defects) and heart disease, mainly cardiac arrhythmia," Dr. Bruce Lee, MD told the entertainment and gossip site.
Dr. Lee further explained that the most possible cause of death would be "heart anomalies that go undetected." The doctor then noted that if proven right, Caleb's siblings should also be checked.
Amid the growing speculations on Caleb Logan's cause of death, his family has opened up on Monday night to say that it was due to an "undetected medical condition," Inquisitr has learned.
"Caleb's death has raised many questions about how and why this could happen to a seemingly healthy boy. Sadly, tests have confirmed today that Caleb passed away from an undetected medical condition," the Brataylays wrote in an Instagram update to their fans.
The official cause of death of Caleb will be revealed when the coroner is done with the autopsy.
