Why ‘South Park’ Season 19 Episode 4 Is NOT AIRING On Comedy Central Tonight!

Comedy Central’s “South Park” Season 19 airs every Wednesday, so avid viewers are anticipating what’s to come to the cartoon series in episode 4 after last week’s Kenny-centric episode.

This week, "South Park" fans are anticipating Season 19 Episode 4 to air on Comedy Central, but sad to say, the show is not airing the brand-new episode just yet.

South Park Studios has just published an update regarding the series no-show tonight. According to the update, this week is one of the "dark weeks" in the show's 19th run. This means that they intended not to show a new episode this Wednesday night. Rest assured, the cartoon series is airing episode 4 next week.

Interestingly, the studio also published a news update about the "South Park" Season 18 DVD & Blu-ray's availability.

However, show fans will still get to satisfy their craving for "South Park" goodness since Comedy Central has opted to air "Stunning and Brave" or the first episode of Season 19 on the 10 p.m. time slot intended for the show.

The premiere episode airing follows the morning and evening marathon of "South Park" on the network which is sure to please fans who may have missed some of the remarkable episodes of the series.

Last week, "South Park" aired Season 19 Episode 3 entitled, "The City Part of Town," which chronicled the very difficult time in Kenny's life at the at the young age of nine.

Due to the gentrification plan of the officials, Kenny's family, who is known to be the poorest of the poor, was pushed outside of their house while the redevelopment plan was carried out.

Given the severity of the situation, the young McCormick decided to get a job at the City Wok. The synopsis of the previous episode read: "As the town is gentrifying around him, Kenny attempts to climb out of the cycle of poverty by taking a job at City Wok," as previously reported.

The previous episode also featured Jimmy Fallon, who apparently dissed the town at the start of the show. Finally, there was also the ordeal with Whole Foods when the residents tapped the company because they already have a new plaza.

At the end, the town earned its own Whole Foods after Randy and the child laborers engaged in a street brawl, which, ironically, impressed the Whole Foods rep.

"I've never seen a town work so hard to present an exaggerated sense of social consciousness. Congratulations, you've got your Whole Foods," the rep said in the end, as quoted by Design & Trend.

With the relevant issues being featured in the cartoon series thus far, many fans are wondering which social issues or personalities will be covered in "South Park" Season 19 Episode 4.

Unfortunately, everyone should wait for the show to air a new episode next Wednesday night at 10 p.m. EDT. For now, in case you missed any of the previous episodes, you may watch them online using this free online stream link here.
