The Duggars will be featured on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” not all of them in person but rather their story and the controversy that rocked their family while matriarch Michelle Duggar shared insights to women regarding meeting their husbands sexual needs.
The Duggars made headlines earlier this year when reports came to light of their first born son, Josh Duggar, sexually molesting five girls who were underage including two of his sisters. After a couple of months when the sexual allegations surfaced, Huffington Post reported Josh Duggar was again on the center of the storm when his name was exposed as one of those who had an Ashley Madison account when the cheating site was hacked. He is currently in rehab to straighten out himself after admitting he has been unfaithful to his wife, Anna Duggar.
On Monday, E! News confirmed that the Duggars, whose reality show “19 Kids and Counting” on TLC was pulled off the air following Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal, will be featured in a “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” episode called “Patrimonial Burden” which will premiere on Nov. 4 and will focus on a reality TV family who will be investigated when their 13-year-old daughter was discovered to be pregnant. And, because it’s “SVU,” PerezHilton.com disclosed that viewers should expect a myriad of twists and turns. The TV series will not exactly mirror the Duggars but rather the family’s story was their inspiration.
“The Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” actor Peter Scanavino who portrays Detective Carisi made some pretty strong comments about the controversial family regarding the particular episode. He said, "With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters. I wouldn't mind doing one just because I have never been so infuriated with someone's level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else. When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say."
Meanwhile, the Duggars' matriarch, Michelle Duggar, advised women to meet the sexual needs of their husbands even if they’re not in the mood for sex, tired or even pregnant.
The wife of patriarch Jim Bob Duggar conveyed some advice on their family’s website last Oct. 8 which she received from a “dear friend” of hers, Gala, who believed that it’s of utmost importance for women to provide sex to their husbands whenever they need to satisfy their carnal urges, as per US Weekly.
Michelle Duggar quoted Gala’s word, “Anyone can iron Jim Bob’s shirt, anybody can make lunch for him. He can get his lunch somewhere else. But you are the only one who can meet that special need that he has in his life for intimacy. You’re it. You’re the only one. So don’t forget that, that he needs you.”
She added, “So when you are exhausted at the end of the day, maybe from dealing with little ones, and you fall into bed so exhausted at night, don’t forget about him because you and he are the only ones who can have that time together. No one else in the world can meet that need. And so be available, and not just available, but be joyfully available for him. Smile and be willing to say, ‘Yes, sweetie I am here for you,’ no matter what, even though you may be exhausted and big pregnant and you may not feel like he feels. ‘I’m still here for you and I’m going to meet that need because I know it’s a need for you.’”
The Duggars matriarch ended her post that her being sexually available to her husband was also reciprocated emotionally. She stated that Jim Bob sat down and listened to everything she poured out to him because he has the knowledge that she’s also “meeting his needs.”
