WWE's The Great Khali may be fearsome in the ring but, in real life he is absolutely hilarious. The former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler showed his comedy chops when he starred in a funny Indian cement commercial.
As reported by NDTV, The Great Khali said, "Ghar ek swarg hota hai... jaise chahe raho, jiiyo. Lekin mere saath aisa nahi tha," which roughly translated means, "Home is a paradise regardless where you live, but I cannot find it"
According to Wrestling Inc, the commercial shows that Khali's strength make's his life difficult. He was seen falling through floors, carving holes in ceilings and just literally breaking walls all over the place. He was even compared to the destructive Godzilla in one scene.
And in a related report by The Drum, Ambuja Cement comes to the rescue as the Indian cement was strong enough to hold down even The Great Khali.
Furthermore, it seems to be going viral as the video has now over half a million views in just a span of three days. According to reports, the views come mostly from India.
Managing director and chief executive officer of Publicis Worldwide South Asia, the company responsible for the ad, Bobby Pawar said, "Ambuja Cement has been about this giant strength and it has been communicated in previous campaigns.
He added, "We put one [Ambula's] strength against the other... the biggest Indian, The Great Khali. It's a mockumentary on his life, a hilarious take on what his life would have been like, in a home that's not built to handle his strength."
The Great Khali, apart from doing hilarious commercials in his home country, is a semi-retired wrestler and was once the World Heavyweight Champion of WWE.
In addition, the wrestler is also an officer for the Punjab state police and has appeared on four Hollywood films and two Bollywood films.
