"WWE 2K16" is almost here and it's better than ever. In fact, it is so good that you can basically create almost every aspect of the game yourself.
According to What Culture, "WWE 2K15" was deemed a failure and was ranked between "disappointment" and an "abomination" as said by fans and critics alike. As usual, WWE and 2K were subjected to intense pressure to make the next game to be the best wrestling simulation game so far.
And according video game writers Adam Blampied and Adam Pacitti, "WWE 2K16" delivered and improved in every aspect that the previous game has failed on to.
As reported, the game has doubled down the aim of creating a realistic match pacing, as what felt "sluggish" last year feels "fresh" with this new installment. Furthermore, there are now more transitional animations to keep the momentum between moves and more intuitive in-game mechanics for move reversals and submission holds.
But probably the greatest improvement in "WWE 2K16" was its "creation suite." As noted by Wrestle Zone, this year's suite features a new and improved "Create A Superstar," "Create A Diva," "Create A Championship," "Create An Entrance" and even a "Create A Show."
Almost every aspect of the game can now be custom-made, leading to a more interactive and fulfilling play time.
However, not everyone is happy with the new "WWE 2K16." According to Polygon, a videogame journalist named Jeff Gertsmann is displeased that WWE has used his "Dr. Tracksuit" persona in a trailer for the game.
After seeing the trailer, Gertsmann then tweeted, "Kind of not OK with someone using something similar to my likeness to promote a franchise that has been so terrible for so long." 2K Sports then immediately re-rolled the said trailer with "Dr. Tracksuit" removed.
For those anticipating the game, "WWE 2K16" launches on Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
