Tracy Morgan Returns To Comedy As Host For 'Saturday Night Live'

"I can't wait to make them laugh again," the very emotional Tracy Morgan said in an interview with the "Today Show" last June. And the wait is finally over as Morgan is set to host this Saturday's episode of "Saturday Night Live".

It was heartbreaking to witness Morgan's accident in June last year. The car crash killed friend and fellow comedian James McNair and left him seriously injured and in a state of coma for roughly two weeks.

And now, after sixteen months, Morgan is finally "back home," as reported by People. The 46-year-old comedian is definitely alive and kicking and back to the showbiz grind. The third episode of "SNL's" 41st season is set to welcome Morgan back as host on Oct. 17.

Apart from recovering physically, it looks like the "30 Rock" star has also recovered his humor. NBC has released the promos for this weekend's show and we can tell that it is going to be hilarious!

Cast mate Bobby Moynihan welcomed Morgan home to which Morgan replied, "This isn't my home. My home is way bigger than this."

Things got a little awkward in the promo reel, as reported by A.V. Club, when Morgan faked memory loss from the accident.

"Tracy, it's such an honor to have you back, man," said Moynihan to Morgan, who appeared disoriented when he asked, "Back where? Did I use to work here? Can't remember anymore..."

Moynihan responded with an apology and a little chuckle when Morgan followed up with, "Haha, I'm messing with you Bobby. Yeah, I remember everything. I remember you owe me $72. It might have been $78."

And we know that Morgan is really back when he quipped, "I'm going to get everyone in this building pregnant."

Singer Demi Lovato will also be joining Morgan on stage as musical guest.

Catch Morgan's return to comedy this Saturday at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
