"Bones" Season 11 Episode 3 is getting more and more exciting for Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) as they officially make the much-awaited Jeffersonian team comeback. Though the previous episode left many fans baffled with Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo's (Pej Vahdat) breakup, the upcoming episodes will reveal interesting twists about their relationship.
While the issue surrounding Booth's disappearance were resolved in last week's episode, here are 4 latest scoops we've learned about "Bones" Season 11 Episode 3 entitled, "The Donor in the Drink."
1. Cam and Arastoo's Breakup
Prior to "Bones" Season 11 Episode 3, the previous episode ended with a shocking twist after Cam refused Arastoo's offer of eloping and chose her career instead. Fortunately, showrunner Michael Peterson hinted that the separation may not be permanent, Latin Post noted.
"There's always hope," Peterson told TVLine. "We're going to shake things up. But again, we want to keep it character-focused. By doing the jump in timeline, it was just an organic way to play with the expectations of Cam and Arastoo's relationship. Certainly, for a while, Arastoo is gone. He is off looking at other opportunities."
2. Booth and Brennan face their first new case, which involves a rainbow trout, after their Jeffersonian comeback.
As Booth and Brennan get ready for their new case, International Business Times revealed the couple will solve a murder case of someone whose internal organs have been harvested while the remains dumped in a fish farm.
"On Brennan and Booth's first official day back at their respective positions at the Jeffersonian and the FBI, things get exciting when remains are found at a fish farm under suspicious conditions, prompting them to investigate," a snippet of the upcoming episode's synopsis read, as per CarterMatt.
3. Booth struggles to readjust to his new position at the FBI.
In "Bones" Season 1 Episode 3, Booth is no longer in the same role and as soon as he quickly realizes that Audrey is not only his boss but has also taken over his office, Design & Trend reported. Since Booth and Audrey differ in their thoughts and ambitions, a tension-filled second-half of the series.
4. Booth is still haunted by his brother's death.
Jared's death will continue to affect Booth in "Bones" Season 11 Episode 3. According to E! News, things are even harder when Booth continues to track down his brother's remains after the shipping company lost the package.
"The nearest effect is going to be in the third episode where, in a way, he's still in shock over it," Peterson said about Booth's grief. "There's going to be guilt that he's going to undoubtedly feel."
