Jenny McCarthy is a proud nude model and the recent no-nudity plans of Playboy magazine just broke her heart. The 42-year-old former "Playmate of the Month" and "Playmate of the Year" is more than willing to shed off her clothes to be featured in the magazine's centerfold once again.
In an interview with the Sirius XM Show on Wednesday, Jenny McCarthy expressed her willingness to go nude again for one last time for Playboy Magazine amid their no-nudity plans. McCarthy, who posed for the mag back in 1993, admitted that she would even campaign for it.
"I would totally be willing to take it all off one more time," McCarthy said, as per Huffington Post. "Just to say I'll be in the last one. They really captured that innocence of the women ... almost like art. There was nothing that I felt was too embarrassing or gross."
Jenny McCarthy also added that she is proud of her nude Playboy pictorials. And as a protest against the no-nudity plans campaign, she will be wearing her underwear at half-mast.
"And nothing that I'm not proud of today," she added. "When I did my test shoot there, I had one unibrow and a giant bush to my knees. And they were like, 'You're in.' It breaks my heart that it's the end of an era and, in solidarity, I will be wearing my panties at half-mast."
Meanwhile, Playboy Magazine announced on Tuesday that starting the March 2016 issue, nude photos of models will no longer appear in the publication. The magazine's redesign came after current chief content officer Cory Jones realized that Playboy's website, which stopped publishing nude images last August, became more successful than the print issue.
"Playboy will continue to publish sexy, seductive pictorials of the world's most beautiful women, including its iconic Playmates, all shot by some of today's most renowned photographers," the mag said in a statement, E! News quoted. "The magazine will also remain committed to its award-winning mix of long-form journalism, interviews and fiction."
While Jenny McCarthy is campaigning to be Playboy's nude model for the last time, she also said that the magazine is classy and a lot of people read the mag for the articles and not because of the nudity content, The Wrap noted.
