A snap of Scott Disick at a rehab center in Malibu, California was recently released by ET. Kourtney Kardashian's ex-partner reportedly checked in on Wednesday, following Lamar Odom's alleged overdose.
Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian's almost ex-husband, was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch Brothel in Nevada on Tuesday. Reports said that the basketball pro had "pinkish fluid running from his nose and mouth after reportedly using cocaine and herbal Viagra."
A source from Us Weekly also added that Odom suffered several strokes during the night. He was in a coma with the Kardashian clan by his side. The latest update on the other hand revealed that Lamar is now conscious and is no longer using a breathing tube.
This incident is believed to be the reason why Disick was spotted in rehab the following day, according to the tabloids.
Daily Mail however, said that there is more to the story than meets the eye. The site stated that It seems like fatherhood has shed some sense on Disick, with a source claiming that the mother of his kids had given him an ultimatum on his capacity to visit his children.
TMZ reported that this is basically a move to win a child custody battle. Disick wanted Kardashian to allow him unsupervised visits with his kids Mason, five, Penelope, three, and Reign, 10 months. However, she wants Disick to be clean before granting this.
Another side to the story is that the "Lord" — as Disick calls himself — has admitted to his problem and even cut ties with some of his party friends.
He has been complaining about not being able to "keep a clear head," according to Us Weekly. "He takes downers and benzos [benzodiazepined, such as Xanax], which slow your heart after you've sped up," a source revealed.
Whatever the reason may be, we hope Disick takes his treatment seriously this time and to "never give up" like he so cryptically posted on his Instagram.
