Kate Middleton is definitely the most popular royal today as updates and rumors about her life keep on surfacing on a daily basis. Now, a recent report claims that the Duchess has a dirty family secret that disgusted Queen Elizabeth II.
The rumors about Kate Middleton and her commoner family seemed to have gotten nastier, thanks to her mom Carole's inappropriate actions. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Carole's 2015 Rugby World Cup booze-sneaking has taken its toll to her relationship with daughter Kate. The celeb gossip site further claimed that Carole's marriage to Michael Middleton is also in danger of crumbling down.
Due to the low-class behavior of Kate Middleton's mom Carole, Queen Elizabeth II reportedly despises the Duchess' family even more, which resulted to Kate's mortification. Prince William's wife is also allegedly petrified that her mom's incontrollable drinking binge and her parents' marital issues will create a major problem during the holidays with Queen.
"It's a huge concern for Kate. [The Duchess] will hide the booze at her house, but her mom brings her own!" an insider claimed. "Last Christmas Carole Middleton had too much to drink and started telling inappropriate jokes."
The report also cited that Prince William is also worried about his mother-in-law's excessive drinking and poor behavior. In fact, she has not only meddled in her daughter's life but also became a huge embarrassment. Kate Middleton was also allegedly feuding with her mom and even threatened her to ban her from the royal get-togethers if she can't get her act right.
Meanwhile, the real-life story of Kate Middleton and Prince William is about to have its own movie adaptation. Parade reported that the novel, "The Royal," which was written by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan and is based on the royal couple's romance, will be adapted for film.
In the novel, the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge were portrayed by the characters of Rebecca Porter, an American commoner who moved to England to study at Oxford University, and Nicholas, the future king. Just like the royal couple, their courtship was placed under the glare of the media. The novel's movie adaptation will be handled by "Parenthood" stars Lauren Graham and Mae Whitman.
In other news, Lydia Wilson is playing as Kate Middleton in the sharply satirical play, "King Charles III." As per Variety, it follows the familial and political chaos after Charles (played by Tim Pigott-Smith) assumed the throne. The play, which first ran in London's West End, has won an Olivier Award (the British Tony) and will be transported to Broadway, premiering on Nov. 1.
