Ever since the former "The Vampire Diaries" couple broke up, they still got their names dragged in every issue despite their best efforts to move on. While they seemingly have move past their breakup, their previous relationship seemed to suggest an unending link between the exes.
As Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are reportedly on the verge for a divorce, his ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev is dragged on their marital issues. In fact, Celeb Dirty Laundry claimed that Dobrev dumped Somerhalder because of his desire to have a family. Now, he's struggling with the same ordeal in the arms of his ex's pal, Reed, who is currently his wife.
Furthermore, Somerhalder is reportedly upset over his wife's role as Betsy Ross on the series, "Sleepy Hollow." The 36-year-old "TVD" star is also getting more frustrated about their intensifying feud over starting a family. While Reed uses her good looks and sex appeal to boost her career, she is ditching the plans for pregnancy, making his husband furious.
While the newlyweds are in the middle of divorce plans, Ian Somerhalder's ex-ladylove Nina Dobrev is happily in love with current boyfriend Austin Stowell. As previously reported, Dobrev was an epitome of a supportive girlfriend during the New York premiere of "Bridges of Spies," her beau's latest movie. The lovely couple were stunning at their red carpet sighting, which was also their first public debut.
Meanwhile, the divorce rumors about Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are still not dying down. And though Nina Dobrev's ex is eager and ready to have kids, his wife is firmly saying no, Movie News Guide noted.
"She wants to focus on her work for animal rights causes. Ian supports her, but he thinks it's the right time for a baby," the source said. While another added, "Nikki is ambitious and worries about derailing her career if she gets pregnant now."
