Beyoncé's almost nip-slip, which led to a viral video on social media, is currently making headlines after the press misinterpreted the 34-year-old diva's gesture when she stopped her stylist from fixing her wardrobe malfunction-ready gown during the Tidal X: 10/20 concert red carpet on Tuesday in Brooklyn.
According to the showbiz insiders and photographers present during the event, Beyoncé scolded her fussy stylist for adjusting her revealing Philipp Plein dress while she was on the red carpet. It appeared that the stylist was inexperienced because her actions quite irritated Bey, who was flaunting all her major assets at the red carpet. And even though the stylist was just trying to avoid the embarrassment of a nip slip, Jay Z's wife clearly told her to stop it and immediately stepped aside realizing her major red carpet mishap, Hollywood Life noted.
Despite the incident and her almost nip-slip, Beyoncé maintained her poise and glamour when she commanded her assistant to get out of her shot while smiling at the photographers. But did Beyoncé show her bossy or fierce side? Or did the media just misinterpreted her gesture causing all the fuzz about the incident now?
Well, it can be both ways. But maybe the press sensationalized the incident more so that it became the talk-of-the-town and the social media went crazy over the video with some pointing out it may just be some publicity stunt.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé's risqué appearance on Tuesday was considered as the best response to the recent comments of her father, Mathew Knowles. Daily Mail noted that the Knowles patriarch told "The Breakfast Club" on Power 105.1 late last week that his daughter's age is older than what the singer claims it to be.
"These guys had a competitiveness. L.A. [Reid] had a girls group, but I bet you don't know who the lead singer was - Pink," 63-year-old Mathew said on the radio show. "She's the exact same age as Beyoncé and there used to be this battle of who was better. You had Usher (37), he was the same age. They were all 14 or 15 years old living in Atlanta."
Beyoncé, who recently risked a nip-slip, has been a constant target of age conspiracy theories. As a matter of fact, celeb gossip site TMZ cited a document from the Texas Department of Health in 2006, claiming that Blue Ivy's mom was actually seven years older than her age. Moreover, Gabrielle Union once revealed that she's good friends with Queen Bey when they were teenagers. But as per Us Weekly, Union is nine years older than the "Single Ladies" hitmaker.
So, what do you think of Beyoncé's almost nip-slip video? Are there any truths about the claims over her exact age?
