‘Gotham’ SPOILERS: Incoming Episode Will Be Purr-fect! Selina Kyle Actress Speaks About Relationship With Other Characters; James Gordon Actor Spotted Romancing His Co-Star?

"Gotham's" latest installment will be purr-fect as it was reported that it will be a Selina Kyle/Cat-centric episode.

According to TV Line, "Gotham" will show Kyle striving to help the unexpected villain Bridgit Pike aka Firefly to cope up with her role as the new villain.

In addition, Camren Bicondova, the actress who plays Selina, talked about her already tension-filled connection with lawman Jim Gordon.

When asked regarding the depth of Selina Kyle's bond with Bridgit, the actress retorted that the show just barely scratched the surface and added that the two characters have a long history together. However, the character is also infamous for never risking her life for anybody, which makes us guess why the new Firefly is any different.

But the 16-year old actress remarked that Bridgit is a bit different since she is one of Kyle's first friends, in addition to the fact that she feels bad for her. Furthermore, it was noted that even though "Gotham's" new villain was originally portrayed as meek, Catwoman definitely knows that she has the ability to be strong and it's going to be shown more often in the show.

Bicondova, without giving too much spoilers, also discussed her character's relationship with Jim Gordon and said that this season saw the relationship between the two got tested. The fragile bond and trust between the two got destroyed, she remarked "You wonder if Gordon and Selina's relationship still exists."

In a similar note, The Hollywood Reporter conducted an interview with actress Michelle Veintimilla who plays Firefly. Veintimilla spoke about her experience when auditioning for the role and said that even she has no idea that her character would turn out to be the villain.

The actress said, "I didn't know anything about Bridgit being a villain when I was auditioning for the part. I started right away, but the writers were always on set, and there was a lot of downtime."

She added, "During that time, they brought me up to speed and told me that they wanted to do Firefly, and they wanted her to be female. I actually read a ton on the past incarnations of the character, and then realized that we were doing a brand new take on it."

In a related note by The Daily Mail, the actor Benjamin McKenzie, who plays James Gordon, seems to be enjoying his time in-between takes on the set. The actor was seen gazing adoringly at his pregnant leading lady on and off the the set of "Gotham," Morena Baccarin.

The couple first met on the set of another well-known series called "The O.C." way back in 2006.

"Gotham" airs tonight at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
