"Criminal Minds" newest episode will be an absolute shocker as Aaron Hotchner and the team race against time to save an innocent little victim against a vile killer on the loose.
As reported by Design & Trend, fans may recall that last week on "Criminal Minds," the BAU or behavioral analysis unit investigated a cold case in Los Angeles.
But in this week's upcoming episode, Buddy TV reported that this new episode of the show looks extra disturbing. Here, we will see the FBI go into the world of street art when a killer graffiti artist is on the loose in the city of Detroit.
"The Night Watch" is the title of the upcoming episode, and it will feature a street artist who kills victims to incorporate them into his gruesome work of art on the streets of Detroit. Hotchner and his team will now start to investigate this brutal crime.
As the behavioral analysis unit tries to profile and eventually catch this elusive artist, it seems that he already took his next victim — a baby. The promotional clip for the upcoming episode shows a person wearing a hood abducting an infant from his crib.
According to Enstarz, the preview clip is also quite chilling as it also revealed how the dead bodies are used in the art and the entire team is going crazy with this new case. Furthermore, Aisha Tyler's character, Dr. Lewis, is also getting more complex and the fans will get to see her personal story.
Meanwhile. A.J Cook recently revealed that she will be returning after taking a leave of absence during the early episodes due to her pregnancy.
According to show runner Erica Messer during an interview with TV Guide, Cook's new baby will be featured on the show. She said, "You'll get to meet A.J.'s real little baby, Phoenix. Like what she did with Mekhai [playing JJ's first son Henry], she's having her actual child play JJ's child," she added, "His name is Michael. Henry and Michael. Her whole family will be TV stars."
The official synopsis for the show read, "When the BAU investigates incidents of bodies being incorporated into macabre graffiti art in Detroit, they suspect an elusive-yet-notorious street artist could be the UnSub. Also, Dr. Lewis struggles to balance her relationship with her fiancé and her work."
This new "Criminal Minds" episode will be directed by actor Thomas Gibson and will air tonight at 9:00 pm, EDT on CBS.
