"Quantico" Season 1 Episode 7 aired last night and kept everyone at the edge of their seats especially fans of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra whose character FBI Agent Alex Parrish is being framed up for the bombing of Grand Central Station.
A recap of "Quantico" Season 11 Episode 7 entitled "Go" showed the NATs facing their midterm's explosive assignment.
CelebDirtyLaundry revealed last week's "Quantico" Season 11 episode saw the NATS harnessing their skills in surveillance by trailing Miranda and her son as well as Alex getting help from Simon, Ryan and Shelby in trying to put together evidence on who could be truly responsible for the bombing of Grand Central.
"Quantico" Season 1 Episode 7 depicted how the NATs were expected to place their loyalties ahead of their own selves. Priyanka Chopra's Alex Parrish was still searching for clues to clear her name. In future day New York, she and Simon Asher (Tate Ellington) found Raina (Yasmine Al Massri). However, instead of finding answers, the two got more questions from one-half of the twin plus they ended up placing her life in grave danger. On the other end, Nathalie (Anabelle Acosta) turned in Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) and Shelby Wyatt (Johanna Braddy), but, eventually, she allowed Ryan and Alex to escape.
According to TV Guide, in "Quantico" Season 1 Episode 7, Raina revealed she and her twin sister Nimah were on a mission and have been penetrating an Islamic terrorist cell residing across the street. Furthermore, she disclosed that it was Nimah whom Caleb and Alex saw in the surveillance footage of Grand Central. But, she claimed that it was not Nimah who was responsible for the bombing as she's with the terrorist group's leader Hamza (Michael Aronov), who has intentions of destroying an American landmark. She knew this fact because she's posing as Nimah when Hamza said that his plan has not been carried out yet.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly sat down and chatted with "Quantico" showrunner Josh Safran who dished details about Season 1 Episode 7 as well as what's coming up before the show takes a winter break.
First off Safran talked about the NATS midterm exam which was meant to teach sacrifice. And as Alex Parrish would say it, “Even if it’s fake, it doesn’t matter, we still have to go through with it.” Of course the viewers has an inkling that all the characters would come out alive of the "bomb." He said even with the "Quantico" fans knowing that Alex Parrish and the rest of the trainees will survive, they still got to see how each one reacted when pushed to the edge.
Expect to see Caleb's mother, Claire, portrayed by Marcia Cross and his sister Cassie in the coming episodes. Safran also teased that "Quantico" Season 1 Episode 8 will connect a couple of dots. Most especially Simon who has to figure out what he feels for the twins.
"Quantico" Season 1 airs Sundays on ABC at 10 p.m.
