In "Arrow" season 4, episode 5, Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity Smoak learned that Ray Palmer, played by Brandon Routh, is alive and in danger. The current CEO of Palmer Technologies now has a new quest — find and save her former boss and boyfriend.
The "Arrow" season 4, episode 6 sneak peek opens with Felicity talking to Echo Kellum's Curtis Holt. She can practically crack and hack anything but now, she's having a hard time finding Ray and here's where panic comes in.
Curtis tells her that she's no good to Ray at her current state, and that she needed to calm down. Like a knight and shining armor, Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen comes into her aid.
Green Arrow and the future Mr. Terrific meets for the first time. At this point, Curtis still doesn't know that Oliver is the man in the green suit, but after the introduction, he decided to drop the bomb.
"Green Arrow showed up right about the time that you came back to town," he said. It was a good thing his mind quickly rejected that theory.
Of course, that left both Oliver and Felicity speechless, then the teaser clip ended. At least, Oliver's secret identity is still safe, for now.
The not so dead Ray is being held by Damien Darhk, a character played by Neal McDonough. According to TVGuide, Felicity's guilt of not being able to find him will be causing a tension between her and her current boyfriend.
Team "Arrow" is going on a rescue mission on the "Lost Souls" episode, but Katie Cassidy's Laurel Lance warns them that it will be like finding a needle in a city filled with haystack. Apparently, the Black Cannary is right.
The explosion that happened at Palmer Technologies in "Arrow" season 1 did not kill Ray. It, somehow, transformed him into Atom.
Now that Caity Lotz's Sara Lance is back, she will be joining the team in looking for the miniaturized Ray. If you can remember in "Arrow" season 4, episode 5, John Constantine helped Oliver and Laurel to bring back the lost soul of the Cannary.
However, that's not going to take away that fact that the effect of being pulled from the Lazarus Pit is still going to be there. Willa Holland's Thea Queen is also experiencing the Pit's side effects, and that's going to jeopardize their rescue mission, Design & Trend learned.
Will they be able to save Ray from the hands of Damien Darhk?
The "Arrow" season 4, episode 6 title "Lost Soul" airs tonight, 8 p.m., on The CW.
