Is Gwen Stefani jealous of Rihanna after rumored boyfriend Blake Shelton praised her? Well, we really don't know yet since the alleged couple has remained elusive amid their rumored relationship. But showbiz insiders are quite certain that flirtation between "The Voice" coaches will continue despite Shelton's nice words for Rihanna, who guest-mentored on the show.
On Monday, Blake Shelton sat down with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan for an interview on "Kelly & Michael." But instead of gushing over rumored girlfriend Gwen Stefani, fans were left baffled when he couldn't stop praising Rihanna. According to Hollywood Life, the 39-year-old country singer opened up about working with RiRi and even named their friendship, "Blianna." And despite not seeing each other since the day the "Umbrella" hitmaker set foot on the set, which he stressed during the interview, Shelton has only nice words for her.
"Rihanna is hot," Shelton told the celeb gossip site last month. "She was so great and so funny, so honest which is — she was really good at that. She really took it seriously and was very good at the job!"
So, Blake Shelton has some love for Rihanna but what about Gwen Stefani? Perhaps Shelton was just keeping their relationship under wraps after it earned the approval of their common friend, Christina Aguilera.
Due to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's undeniable chemistry, their on and off camera sweetness on "The Voice" is driving their fans crazy. As a matter of fact, the audience of their show that aired on Nov. 16 went nuts when Amy Vachal sang her own rendition of Drake's "Hotline Bling." But it wasn't really Vachal's version that made the crowd erupt in joy, instead it was Shelton's response when Adam Levine asked him if he knew the song.
"You know that song?" Levine asked, while Blake's priceless response was, "Gwen sang it to me..."
It seems that Gwen Stefani didn't really feel jealous over Blake Shelton's praises to Rihanna. Another Hollywood Life report pointed out that the rumored couple even went full PDA and kissing on the set of "The Voice." Unfortunately, actress-comedian Wendy Williams thought that the couple should have taken their relationship slow following their respective divorces with Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.
"I'm all for these two shacking up -- they're both newly single, fresh on the dating scene, and there's no better time for Blake and Gwen to rescue each other," Williams said, as per International Business Times. "But if I were them, I'd play it cool and keep it on the DL [down low]!"
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton's ex-wife Miranda Lambert reportedly knew that her husband cheated on her with Gwen Stefani. Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed that a new report claimed that Lambert is convinced that Shelton was cheating on her with Stefani before their divorce since they have already co-starred in a previous season on "The Voice" before their respective marriage crumbled.
Moreover, Lambert also wanted to meet up with Stefani's ex-husband Gavin Rossdale to shed some light on the issue.
"[Miranda] wants to meet with Gavin behind closed doors and compare notes," the celeb gossip site quoted a source. "She doesn't buy their story that it's totally brand new. She thinks they're just trying to cover it up so they don't look bad."
Do you think Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were already an item before their respective divorces with Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert?
