“South Park” Season is returning with episode 8 this Wednesday, and it appears that the Comedy Central show is all set to tackle relevant war-related issues. Whether the long-running cartoon series is going to feature a storyline related to the Paris attacks remains unknown.
In the all-new episode, a war is set to happen at South Park. Per South Park Studios' official website, "there is a war coming." The official statement about the episode continues with: "Jimmy is sent to PC Principal's office and Nathan makes an ominous prediction."
Don't miss the brand new episode this week. Comedy Central is airing it at 10 p.m. ET. In case you can't catch it on its TV airing slot, there is free online stream available through the "South Park" Season 19 Episode 8 link below.
The official sneak peek at the upcoming episode was also released online via South Park Studios' YouTube account. The clip is entitled "There is a War Coming."
In the preview, Nathan and Jimmy could be seen inside PC Principal's office. The latter even starts the conversation saying, "Nathan could you tell Jimmy how you feel when people use the word retarded?"
Nathan then responds: "It hurt my feelings because I feel bad."
Jimmy seems to be not taking things seriously as he retorts Nathan's statement with a question: "Are you serious right now?"
The promotional material then jumps to a scene wherein Nathan and Jimmy could be seen at the hallway of lockers. Jimmy approaches Nathan to ask the latter: "What the hell are you doing?"
Interestingly, Nathan says, "There's a war coming. A war Jim... and I'm just gonna make sure I'm on the right side of it."
It's not certain if Nathan is really speaking of a catastrophic war at South Park or just a petty war between Jimmy and PC Principal. After all, PC Principal is not letting Jimmy's use of inappropriate language slip.
Per TV Guide, the official synopsis of "South Park" Season 19 Episode 8 reads: "Jimmy challenges PC Principal when the budding newsman is flagged for inappropriate language in the school paper."
Last week, Comedy Central's famous cartoon series aired an episode entitled "Naughty Ninjas", and it gave an interesting take on what life would be like without policemen. This Wednesday, the episode is shrouded in mystery but it strongly teases about an imminent war. Could this be the creators' way of relating the show to the unfortunate current events?
This Wednesday night's episode is entitled "Sponsored Content." Don't miss it when it airs on Comedy Central. Tune in to the network or simply watch the show online using this "South Park" Season 19 Episode 8 free online stream link here.
