Josh Duggar is involved in so many sex scandals due to his addiction in pornography. Earlier this year, he came clean and confessed that he cheated on his wife and is obsessed with porn. In addition, it was published on ET that when his two sisters were still teenagers, he admitted to sexually abusing them along with one other girl.
"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation," Josh said in May.
He also revealed that he and his parents went to the authorities to confess his wrongdoing. His parents also made arrangements for him and the people he offended to get counseling.
The TV personality asked for forgiveness and expressed regret forhis past actions. "I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God's grace, mercy and redemption," Josh said in a statement posted on Duggar family's Facebook page.
After these overwhelming episodes in the lives of the Duggars, Josh entered a facility, in his own accord, to seek long-term rehabilitation treatment for his porn addiction and correct his behavior.
Then again, the scandal has not yet completely died down when an adult film actress named Danica Dillon, came out recently to accuse Duggar of assault and battery, according to PEOPLE. The porn star claimed that the "19 Kids and Counting" star "assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries."
Dillon, whose real name is Ashley Stamm-Northup is seeking $500,000 in compensation for damages. She added that since the encounter with Duggar, she has been visiting a psychiatrist to treat her severe anxiety.
In the legal documents acquired by InTouch, the account of how Dillon and Duggar met and what occurred when they spent time in a hotel was detailed.
Dillon related that she was paid $600 by Duggar for lap dances at the The Gold Club in Philadelphia where she was the featured performer at that time. Then she was invited to a hotel and agreed to have sex. However, although she consented to it, she felt like being raped due to his rough ways. She was paid $1,500 afterwards.
"I tried to be sexy and seductive but he was like, 'No.' let's get straight to the point. Then we took our clothes off and he was very rough with me," Danica disclosed to Entertainment Weekly.
She further said, "I never said no. I am going to have to reiterate that: I never told him no. But I did push him back and push him off and say 'That's too rough, that's too rough.'"
And commenting on the case filed by his client, Marc Frumer, Dillon's lawyer said, "The defendant has a history of sexual and physical abuse towards women, particularly those he perceives as vulnerable and weak. He has to be held responsible for his actions."
The lawyer stated that this case can take nine to eighteen months before it can be resolved. At any rate, Frumer noted that Duggar doesn't have a lawyer yet and he is currently in a rehabilitation facility so it is possible for this case to be delayed as well.
