Despite a rough year, the Jeffersonian team will be in a festive mood as they spend Thanksgiving with each other in "Bones" Season 11 Episode 8. While coming together for a holiday feast, Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and the crew will also solve a case involving the murder of a high-powered political journalist, Mashable noted.
Before things get more interesting in "Bones" Season 11 Episode 8, the previous episode showed the team investigating a case involving the death of an escape artist, whose body was found by a trio of bicyclists in the woods. As Hodgins (T.J. Thyne), Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Aubrey (John Boyd) processed the crime scene, they discovered that the victim had been dragged there. While the analysis of the corpse revealed that a key was forced inside the skull. It was also discovered that she had an allergic reaction before she was strangled to death.

According to TV Guide, "Popular" actress Sara Rue has signed on for a multi-episode arc, playing the role of Leslie Green. Assigned to work with Booth (Boreanaz) on his latest case, Green is described as "a seemingly flaky but quite intelligent behavioral analyst." Though Booth is unimpressed with her insights, Green will become determined to make herself useful to her new partner.
