Former "Dancing with the Stars" partners Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec have been dating since they competed together in ABC's hit dance competition's 20th season. But now, the couple are reportedly facing some troubles in paradise as Johnson is getting sick of waiting for Herjavec's proposal.
For months, showbiz insiders believed that Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec's relationship is going stronger. But now, a breakup allegedly looms due to Herjavec's divorce, which is still not finalized plus the reported cut in his $200 million net worth. And since the 52-year-old Canadian businessman-investor and TV personality is still technically married to wife Diane Plese, Johnson is growing tired of waiting since the 39-year-old "DWTS" dancer has been waiting for an engagement announcement herself.
"There is definitely some distance between Robert and Kym," an insider said, as per Celeb Dirty Laundry. "It's no secret that she wants him to propose, but he refuses until the divorce is final. Kym is starting to think that Robert and Diane Plese are dragging the divorce out intentionally, and they may still wind up getting back together."
Kym Johnson's Instagram post has also sparked breakup rumors after she revealed that she's leaving for a while to dance and entertainment while on the "Dancing with the Stars" cruise, Starpulse noted. While the couple have gushed about one another publicly, Johnson didn't reveal how her "DWTS" cruise participation would affect her relationship with Robert Herjavec.
Meanwhile, since Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy are already engaged, Hollywood Take suggested that Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec might also be getting engaged soon. But before the much-anticipated engagement, Herjavec has to finalize his divorce to Diane Plese, his wife for 25 years before their separation in March. Despite the odds in their relationship, Johnson has only nice words for his man.
"He's very sweet. I'm really happy," Johnson said last month. "Robert just has so much passion about everything he does which is just so great to be around. He's just very positive. I think that's why he's so successful in everything he does. When he does something, he commits to it totally. He did that with Dancing. He's not afraid to go there and look silly if he has to!"
While Robert Herjavec's net worth settlement with his ex-wife hasn't been resolved yet, it hasn't really stopped him and Kym Johnson from making their relationship progress to something more serious.
"We love spending time together, and he was so great on 'Dancing with the Stars,'" Johnson told Entertainment Tonight. "We had the best experience, and he's great. We're having a lot of fun."
