It's Lindsay Lohan vs Jennifer Lawrence everyone! Before 2015 officially ends, the "Mean Girls" star lashed out and expressed her sentiments on Twitter over the "Mockingjay" actress' comment on her being a "big puker."
This might mean the start of a raging war between the two beautiful actresses as Aliana Lohan came to the defense of her sister Lindsay Lohan vs Jennifer Lawrence's interview on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."
Just Jared reported the younger Lohan posted on her Twitter account the statements: "I never breathe life into negativity but I stand by my family. Disappointed in Jennifer Lawrence. You lost a fan. @lindsaylohan.”
Lindsay Lohan responded to what her sister wrote on the social media app. She penned: “@aliana thank you sister.. Maybe who you’re referring to should learn to support others like #mayaangelou.” The tweet accompanied a photo of the orange sky with a quotation from Maya Angelou.
Apparently, the Lindsey Lohan vs Jennifer Lawrence ruckus began when the latter made an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" wherein she answered in one part of the interview that she's a "puker." She added that she's been so caught up with work since she doesn't "have a choice" and that she just keeps on going until her body makes a stand and make her stop.
"I get like, Lindsay Lohan-grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcohol. I'm always in bed early. I'm still tired."
The last comment served as the last straw for the off-hand quip of the "Joy" lead star. Naturally, since blood is thicker than water, Lindsay Lohan's family especially her sister came to her defense and shot down an arrow over Jennifer Lawrence's side.
Lindsay Lohan's mom, Dina Lohan, gave out a statement to Entertainment Tonight. She remarked that her family has always admired Jennifer Lawrence (they're actually fans of the "X-Men" actress) and, in fact, love her. It was, however, lamentable that she cited Lilo as a model of "not showing up to set, and that whole bit." She continued that it was disheartening that JLaw has to use one of her peers to make an example of her situation.
"You shouldn't trash anyone, it was just surprising. My family sticks together," Lindsay Lohan's mother ended.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly has learned that Jennifer Lawrence's interview last Dec. 14, Monday on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" was to promote her latest movie titled "Joy," alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro which will hit cinemas on Dec. 25, Christmas Day.
