Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are reportedly heading for divorce because of some infidelity issues in their relationship. But the couple is also trying to save their marriage with the help of marriage counselling and seeing a therapist.
Following their first year wedding anniversary in July, an insider revealed that Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have been facing relationship troubles, fights and jealousy issues. And one reason for the couple's marital woes and tension is Levine's alleged playboy lifestyle, which his Victoria's Secret Angel wife considered disrespectful.
"Adam goes out all the time and chats up other girls," the insider told Celeb Dirty Laundry. "[Behati] thinks it's disrespectful."
In order to save their marriage, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo decided to meet a marriage counselor.
"They've started seeing a marriage counselor," a source said. "They want to learn how to communicate better because they've been fighting over everything lately -- especially little things like working too much and Adam leaving clothes laying around the house."
While divorce rumors loom, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo remain optimistic that their marital issues will be sorted out through therapy.
"Adam and Behati are hoping these sessions will secure their bond," the source stated. "Deep down, they're madly in love."
Another reason for Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo's divorce was the Levine's cheating rumors with "The Voice" contestant Amy Vachal, Classicalite noted. According to an unnamed insider, the 36-year-old Maroon 5 frontman was avoiding any physical contact with Vachal because of the sexual tension between them. Levine has also been burying himself in work to avoid getting his 26-year-old supermodel wife pregnant.
Meanwhile, the sexual tension rumors between Adam Levine and Amy Vachal was slammed by Gossip Cop, saying the reports as "nonsense."
Despite the divorce reports, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo were seen enjoying a dinner date in West Hollywood earlier this month. And just last month, Levine even opened up that the rumors have convinced their friends and his mother that they're divorcing.
"We don't ever pay attention to those things," Levine told Elle. "That's so mean. We're so happy, why would you do that?"
Behati Prinsloo, on the other hand, has also her fair share of cheating issues. Prinsloo's recently uploaded photo on Instagram sparked rumors that she's hooking up with Joe Jonas while in St. Barts with other Victoria's Secret Angels to prepare for the 2016 VS Swim Special. Nick Jonas, who was hanging out with models Elsa Hosk and Martha Hunt, was also spotted in the area, Hollywood Life reported.
