North West Showcases the Growing Business of 'Kiddie Couture' By Sporting a $3500 Worth Fur Coat

Kim Kardashian-West flaunts daughter's style in a $3,500 worth fur coat. In a recent photo she posted on her Instagram account, 2-year-old North expertly rocked her big fur coat over a sweatshirt, a pair of jeans and white Chuck Taylor sneakers. She was also sucking on a lollipop and wore a baseball cap that gave her look some more attitude. She simply captioned the picture with the popular slang term "Swag" which equals to style. The post has already received over a million likes.

It was a chilly outing with her cousins Penelope and Mason Disick, children of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, when North was seen sporting her extravagant fur coat. Kourtney accompanied the kids at GlowZone LA in Woodland Hills, California.

Rocking a fur coat is not new to this family. Kim Kardashian-West is always seen wearing one, her husband Kanye West, her sisters and basically everyone in the Kardashian-Jenner clan. A lot of people believe that North's coat is made out of real fur. Even though Kardashian's publicist has told the New York Post that it was only a gift, the piece of clothing has caught the attention of PETA and a lot of anti-fur activists have swarmed her social media account and even during her book signing.

Last year, Kardashian-West told Vogue about North being a "girlie girl" who is very much into shoes and handbags. She also told them that before North takes the offer of having a diaper change, she must first have a pair of shoes on.

Manucfacturers and brands like Gucci, Burberry and many more have worked on their kiddie couture departments more today. Even infants can now dress couture because of this progress in the fashion industry. And since celebrities have made it more attractive to the non-showbiz people, the kiddie couture is on the rise.
