Ever since it's creation in the Animal Planet network, the annual television program that mirrors the all time American favorite sport has gone viral. This year, Puppy Bowl returns with an all-American, all-star, all-adorable cast of puppies and kittens ready for game time at the Animal Planet Stadium.
The aptly named American Football Bowl can now be brought to you with the magic of virtual reality.
Have you ever dreamt of being jumped on by cute puppies? You may be able to get the chance - virtually. VR users can now put themselves on the football field with puppies trying to get the trophy.
Celebrating its 12th year, Puppy Bowl is being shown alongside the Super Bowl itself, and Animal Planet wants to make this year different. The show itself has amassed sports fanatics who are also pet lovers.
Virtual Reality can be seen on Animal Planet's website. Allowing the user a 360 degree puppy's eye view of the field goal. However, the VR feature is available in advance of the game, rather than on game night.
If you have Google Cardboard or a Samsung VR, the VR content of the site is fully optimized for these devices and the content will be available on the website as well as Youtube.
