The world's leading Internet TV network, Netflix, which has recently gone global has announced the premiere dates of several television shows and renewal of some popular series.
- Marvel's Jessica Jones will return for a second season on Netflix which shows the life of a private eye with powers. No release date yet but the renewal is hopeful for Marvel fans.
- A new series titled Flaked is scheduled to premiere on March 11, 2016 at 12:01 AM PT. It is a story about a man named Chip who is trying to stay ahead of his own lies and will be played by Will Arnett.
- Another new series titled The Ranch will premiere its 10 episodes on April 1, 2016 at 12:01 AM PT. The setting of the series is in present day Colorado in a ranch which will star Ashton Kutcher and Sam Elliot.
- Lost & Found Music Stuidos will also be released alongside The Ranch at the same time slot. It is a live action series about a group of musicians who wants to make their mark in the music world.
- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is renewed for a second installment on April 15, 2016 at 12:01 AM PT. Kimmy Schmidt, played by Ellie Kemper, reclaims her life in New York after living in a cult for 15 years.
- Kong - King of Apes will also premiere at the same time as Kemper's post-cult show. This is an animated series for kids.
- Later in the year, Marseille premieres on May 5, 2016 at 12:01 AM CET. It details the ambition of a city and exposing the leader's secrets.
- The day after, Grace and Frankie will be aired globally. Played by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, the show is about two women who go through life after their husbands reveal they are gay.
- Word Party will be released on June 3, at 12:01 AM PT. The show is meant for kids and to teach them new words with adorable baby animals that sing, play and dance.
- Orange is the New Black is going to air on June 17 at 12:01 AM PT for another season!
- Stranger Things will premiere on July 15, at 12:01 AM PT. It's a new drama series about a boy vanishing into thin air and everyone goes off looking for answers to his disappearance.
- The Get Down is scheduled to premiere on August 12, 12:01 AM PT which centers on New York in the 70's. Get ready to witness the birth of hiphop in the Bronx, as posted online.
