Walmart Shutting Down fo 24 Hours? Closed for Redesign and Improve Customer Service

It seems Walmart has a lot to work on when consumers are urging the company to revamp its internal operations and design.

Analysts are saying that it should follow Chipotle.

Although Walmart doesn't have the health scare Chipotle has, analysts are saying that Walmart should shut its doors for one full day to redesign their lay-out, train its current employees and improve their customer service.

Panos Mourdoukoutas, a global strategist, describes this suggestion as the best way for the business to survive instead of closing down its stores.

Recently, Walmart had closed down 40 stores, including its Oakland site where it was said that the high minimum wage in the state attributed to the closing down of the shop because the business cannot offset its costs.

Walmart is not only facing financial issues, it's also looking at customer value concerns. Forbes commentators have shared their thoughts on the matter:

Well it's simple - Wal-Mart can only blame itself, it has to redesign its labels, change its color, then move around in the store, this they think will get people to look around more, not so, it makes us older people mad.

That settles the lay-out of the stores. Walmart should also focus on employee behavior from both behind the counters and along the aisles. Manager and store employees alike should be retrained. Another commentator noted:

These people, trusted with multi-million dollar stores, have no idea how to build a culture let alone lead people. If your local Wal-Mart is a bad place to shop, I can promise you that the store manager is no good.

These are reasons why Mourdoukoutas urges Walmart to take a different direction in order to instill investor confidence after it closed down its stores nationwide because at the moment, the company's stocks are suffering, as reported online.
