They say that you can't really be considered successful when you have never made a profit out of doing the things you love or passionate about. For most people who have not tried exceeding their limits, that would only sound like a goal, but for these 5 artists, it had been their way of living. Take a look at these Hip-Hop artists and producers who have taken over the fashion world:
Pharrell Williams. Partnering up with the founder of A Bathing Ape (BAPE) Nigo, Williams have created two fashion lines that catered not only to the Hip-Hop fans, but everyone who are suckers for style and badass sneakers. They are called Ice Cream and Billionaire Boys Club. Back in 2008, Williams also designed a jewelry line for Louis Vuitton.
Kanye West. In 2009, West collaborated with Nike to realease Air Yeezys, his own shoes, with a second version that was released three years later. During Paris Fashion Week in 2009, he introduced his first Louis Vuitton shoe line. It was in 2013 when Adidas confirmed a new shoe collaboration deal with him. The Adidas Yeezy Boosts were released 28 February of last year.
50 cent. 50 has had a successful career ever since. In 2003, he founded G-Unit Records and signed a five-year deal with Reebok for his G-Unit Clothing Company, in partnership with Ecko Unlimited founder; Marc Ecko.
Tyga. Inspired by his love and admiration for the Egyptian culture, Young Money artist Tyga launched his own brand called Last Kings.
Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. Diddy's clothing line called Sean John has been around since 1998. It has also been nominated for the Council of Fashion Designers of America award for Menswear Designer in 2000. In 2008, Diddy added "I Am King", the first men's perfume for the Sean John brand.
