Angry iPhone users are reporting bugs inside their Safari browser yesterday. The Verge reports that the search browser crashes when iPhone users were doing their search from the address bar for both the OS X and iOS operated devices.
It seems that the bug is affecting these devices all over the world. Mac computers run on OS X and iPads and iPhones use iOS. Both systems are apparently affected by the bug.
The Verge also recommends a temporary solution to the problem. It hints that the issue might be connected with the search suggestion feature of the Safari and suggests that iPhone, iPad and Mac users to temporarily disable it or use the browser's private mode option instead.
The same solution was discovered by Mirror Online after they have confirmed that the bug really affects the iOS and the OS X.
Mirror Online also suggested for users to enable the private browsing option. They need to tap the tab key which is located at the bottom right of the device's screen, and then select 'Private.'
Click 'Done' and the screen's background will turn dark. This will confirm the switch and private browsing is now enabled. After the switch, the user can now use the search address bar in the normal way.
There is another solution recommended by the Mirror. They suggest for users to access Settings, and then go to Safari and switch Safari Suggestions to 'Off'.
With many Apple users encountering Safari crashes, Apple Inc. has yet to comment about this issue.
This current problem appeared just days after a 'CrashSafari' prank. iPhone users were asked to click on a link to crashsafari.com. It caused the web browser to stop and the iPhones to crash. But it was only temporary and when the system is rebooted, the device will operate normally as before.
It is interesting to note that Apple reported its slowest-ever increase in the deliveries of iPhones this week, and its revenue drop, the first in 13 years.
