On January 27, 2016, Rihanna's single "Work", featuring Drake, became the most heard song of the day proving that Rihanna did get right to work and she certainly worked it.
More than 1,000 radio stations have played "Work" and a recorded 23.4 million audience was drawn in. It was reported that it even topped Justin Bieber's "Sorry" which drew in 21.7 million and even Adele's "Hello" with 20.9 million. The song debuted everywhere including BBC Radio 1 and Z100 New York.
Rihanna's album, Anti, has been much awaited, with the release of "Work". The song shared a collaboration with singer-songwriter Drake.
Pitchfork describes the collaboration between Rihanna and Drake as a trilogy of hurt, desire and self-actualization. The new single is said to be the best of the Anti album where Drake can be found chanting like a motivational speaker.
"Work" was previously teased early January
Fans have been waiting for a new record drop from the musical deity for over three years with "Unapologetic" released in 2012. "Work" is just keeping fans at bay from the official release of "Anti".
Rihanna is scheduled to kick off the Anti World Tour next month on February 26 in San Diego, California. A world tour to support the album will spend three months in North America starting at Vieja's Arena with the last leg ending in Oakland's Oracle Arena. Thereafter, Rihanna is scheduled for a two-month tour in Europe.
Rihanna even tweeted online, with her social media handle @rihanna, to encourage fans to listen and preview the song:

Rihanna describes the single as the first one off the Anti album which might signify that her previous 2015 tracks may not be listed in Anti. For now, fans will have to wait and watch out for Travis Scott, Big Sean and the Weeknd as Rihanna's opening acts.
