Apple launched last year what is yet to be considered the most important upgrade Apple TV has seen since the 3rd generation of the device was released in 2012. The device received a bulkier tad along with an assemblage of changes and upgrades in the internal hardware and software capabilities. That is to say, Apple TV got powered by Siri.
The latest Apple TV's function to Siri works great in searching movies and TV shows, and has the capability to address queries and open available apps like any other iOS. Nonetheless, there are more usefulness to Siri, especially where a tiny square touchpad operates like a remote to the device.
According to MacRumors's report, Apple has provided an upcoming 9.2 update to tvOS, an operating system that runs on 4th generation Apple TV, that includes more improvement and full control of Siri over its device.
As far as entering an Apple ID and password or any other details to configure the device, users find it difficult to navigate through an on-screen virtual keyboard remotely controlled using the small square touchpad.
Now with Siri's capability and latest update to tvOS 9.2 beta 3 concerning onscreen text entry, by assisting the enable or disable dictation, Apple TV users will be able to dictate and spell out text on the screen instead of typing them.
Siri's update goes further to its search capabilities of virtual assistant, so users can keep updated with apps, movies and TV shows.
For an even much easier way to enter a text, with Apple TV OS's latest update, instead of choosing to dictate the input with Siri or slowly navigating the words through the virtual touchpad, tvOS 9.2 also supports Bluetooth keyboard. Just by pairing Bluetooth keyboard to the Apple TV, users can easily type the words on the screen with no difficulties.
