Samsung released its J devices: the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in June of 2015. Now, it is about to come out with the successor of the Galaxy J7, the Galaxy J7 (2016). But when is it to be launched?
Reports say it should be released sooner than we expect.
The Galaxy J7 was launched by the South Korean electronics giant in 2015, hitting the shelves in the summer of the same year. It would have been expected that its successor, the Galaxy J7 (2016) would hit the market after its predecessor had completed a year cycle in the market. This would give customers - and the previous models - a year before the new models arrive for use.
As product cycles get shorter, however, it would appear that we might see the phone sooner. The Samsung Galaxy J7 was sent for Bluetooth SIG certification at the beginning of 2016, which should make them ready for the market in a few months.
It is probably safe to say we will see the Samsung Galaxy J7 before the end of this year (2016)
However, it should be noted that no official release date has been announced by Samsung.
Also, according to a report on SamMobile, the J7 has already passed the Bluetooth SIG certification.
The new Samsung Galaxy J7 is rumored to have some exciting features, including Exynos 7870 processor that has 8 cores, a RAM of 2GB and 3GB as well as device storage of 16GB and 32GB for two variations respectively.
It should also have a slot for entering a microSD card, an HD screen of 5.5-inch, with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. The camera is rumored to have 13 mega pixels on the back and 5 mega pixels on the front.
It is also widely rumored to incorporate the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
The first edition of the Galaxy J7 released in 2015 was a marked success.
