The latest controversy involving the rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West is his recent "Saturday Night Live" outburst that had blown out of proportion, CNN reported.
Despite being famous for meme-worthy tweets and grandiose claims, the 38-year-old entrepreneur raised all kinds of concerns after taking the SNL production staff before a performance for his new album - "The Life of Pablo." Although an Access Hollywood insider said that he was addressing his own team and not anyone involved in the production of the show in that recorded clip.
The source stated that the audio was secretly recorded while the rapper was venting in frustration during a private moment with his team.
"He found out his stage design was changed and taken apart under the direction of the show's lighting director without anyone's approval," the insider added. "He had spent time the entire day rehearsing and a lot of hard work into the performance. Dramatic set changes were made 30 minutes before going live."
According to the same source, it should be understandable why West was upset after being "completely blindsided." SNL has not yet responded when contacted by Access Hollywood, but the source assures everyone that there were no hard feelings between West and the staff. Later in the evening after everything had been fixed, West was seen hugging SNL creator and producer Lorne Michaels and even stayed afterwards to chat with the staff.
For weeks, Yeezy had been under a great deal of media scrutiny for his tweets. Different sorts of reactions involving concern were shown by people who think that the Hip-Hop superstar may actually be going through something as of the moment. Highlights of his Twitter rants include Bill Cosby's apparent innocence, $53 million debt and his request of help from wealthy patrons like Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg.
