"Fast and Furious 8" brought news to a mile-high after the name of Cody Walker was tagged along the upcoming installment of the car chasing action movie. This news surprised many who undoubtedly miss the presence of the late Paul Walker, but another update of the movie now will shock fans even more.
Surprisingly, the latest buzz detailed that fans can expect more from the blockbuster franchise, and it is not about Cody Walker. Apparently, a trilogy is happening for the James Wan film.
Digital Spy detailed that there will be more to come for this installment. "Fast and Furious 8," Fast and Furious 9," and "Fast and Furious 10" are hinted to come out after the record-breaking sales of "Fast and Furious 7."
Clashing all senses now, this latest endeavor of the movie was accounted from Vin Diesel's Instagram post which highlighted "2 Decades, 10 Films, 1 Saga" and the dates for the said releases referring to "Fast and Furious 8- April 14, 2017," "Fast and Furious 9- April 19, 2019" and "Fast and Furious 10- April 2, 2021."
Diesel who plays the lead protagonist role Dominic Toretto in the movie thought of these amazing idea to make a trilogy after "Fast and Furious 7." The 48-year-old actor even specified that the franchise film which started in 2001 will eventually end up in its 10th installment that will be shown in 2021 after 20 years that the initial movie took place.
"Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision... they have been like family... I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga." Diesel said regarding the production plan.
Meanwhile, the actor also added that the eighth installment of the movie is known as "Fast 8" and may even include the comeback of actress Eva Mendes.
