Tim Tebow Makes Brief Return For The Jets

After almost three weeks of sitting on the sidelines due to a rib injury, Jets reserve quarterback Tim Tebow made his much awaited triumphant return on the field Monday night when the New York Jets took on the Tennessee Titans. Unfortunately, his return did not spell triumph for the woeful Jets as they lost the game 10-14.

The lost signified yet another disappointing season for the Jets who have now been eliminated from post season contention. Jets’ fans have long been clamoring for some sort of miracle to happen and were hoping that Tim Tebow would be the answer to their team’s quarterback struggles. Well so far that has not been the case.

The best thing that the Jets can do now is to end their remaining games in a blaze of glory since they won’t be doing anything once the regular season ends. Tebow’s limited minutes during Monday’s loss to the Titans baffled many fans and experts alike as starting quarterback Mark Sanchez was simply abysmal from the field after throwing four interceptions.

Well in Sanchez’ defense, Tebow wasn’t that spectacular either, but maybe he might be able to show us some brilliance once the Jets finish off their remaining games for the season.
