Melissa McCarthy may be known for her comedic antics, but she is also an inspiration to women of diverse shapes, colors and sizes.
Melissa McCarthy has been described as a champion for real women and since she has entered the fashion industry, she has now become one of women's favorite fashion designers. When McCarthy created her brand Seven7, it wasn't just a business opportunity, but it was a chance for women to be beautiful in their own way.
After being frustrated with the limited styles, options and sizes for women her size, McCarthy decided to put up her own clothing brand. She had background in design and soon enough, she was able to launch her 2014 collection.
McCarthy was pumped to announce that this spring, her designs vary from sizes 4 to 26, adding that her theme is inspired by the 1970's. "I've always been obsessed with the drape and sex appeal of certain '70s dresses," she explained.
Her line includes various jumpsuits, kimonos, denim and maxi dresses. Among all of her designs, she loves the maxi dress the most because of its versatility.
Versatility in comfort, wear and life is what she aims for. She previously shared that she had to go through a specific health regimen for her to lose weight, but despite shedding a few pounds, McCarthy made it clear that she is not letting go of the real goal behind her brand. She remains determined to open her clothing line to diverse women at affordable prices.
Maybe after a few runs, she'll move to accessories next. What do you think of her new fashion designs?
