Gamers waiting for "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" might have to delay their delight to a later date. The new EA game developed by Bioware is now set for release on the first quarter of 2017.
Eurogamer reported of this latest news for the "action role-playing third-person shooter video game." Electronic Arts Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen said from the outlet, "We've got a great year ahead," while announcing the lineup of games expected for future releases.
"We've got our Battlefield [5] first-person shooter game coming in the third quarter, and our third-party title that Respawn, our partner, built, it's called Titanfall [2]. We have our Mirror's Edge [Catalyst] runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect [Andromeda], which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter." added Jorgensen.
Although the wait for "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" is long overdue, Bioware made sure that future gamers gearing up for the game will enjoy the latest development. "Andromeda" is revealed to be a different pack from "Mass Effect 3" and developers insinuated new features that will make them fully in-control of their gaming experience.
The new game will not include Commander Shepard in the background hence "Andromeda" is totally equipped with new character features and locations. Expert Reviews detailed that gamers playing "Andromeda" have a chance to build a new adventure on a new planet wherein they can also "customize" their own player setup mode. "Mako" the long time vehicle buddy that stretches out in any adventure in the game will still be part of "Andromeda."
In line with the release of "Mass Effect 4: Andromeda" in the first quarter of 2017, The Verge reported that the game is also scheduled to be available in different gaming platforms specifically Xbox One, PS4 and PC. However, there have been no further details regarding this news.
