Adele Celebrates Leap Day By Pressuring A Fan‘s Boyfriend To Say Yes To Her Engagement Proposal During Belfast Concert

Adele decided to play cupid on Leap Day and helped a female fan propose to her boyfriend during her concert in Belfast. Leap Day may be known as that extra day in February every four years, but for some people, Leap Day is that one day in Ireland that encourages women to propose to their male partners and Adele was ready to support that tradition during her concert tour.

As the "Hello" singer celebrated her first concert of her world tour in Belfast, she decided to take a break in between songs to ask if there were any females in the audience who wanted to take the stage for a moment and propose to their boyfriends. The 25-year-old was adamant to have the Leap Day tradition fulfilled and said, "I'll boot ya off the stage if you come on and it's not a real proposal."

On cue, a fan approached the stage and explained to Adele that she is willing to do it. The conversation started out with the singer asking the fan what she's going to do but it turns out, the fan, named Hayley, already proposed earlier during the day. Her boyfriend named Niel replied with, "Maybe in a little while." Maybe that pushed her to ask Adele for help when the opportunity rose because Adele will have none of Niel's reply and pressured him to give a proper yes to the proposal: "You have to say a proper yes, bruv!" The singer said in jest.

The spotlight was on Niel and the crowd also joined in, "Come on, Neil!" they exclaimed. Feeling the pressure, he finally said yes.

Would you want to be pressured by Adele into marrying your partner?
