The "One Piece: Burning Blood" gameplay trailers have been released. Bandai Namco's fighting game is slated for release next month in Japan.
Siliconera reported that the latest video for the game based on Eiichiro Oda's manga gave fans a glimpse at matchups between the series' main characters. The first "One Piece: Burning Blood" gameplay trailer showed Luffy, Ace and Sabo versus Chopper, Sanji and Crocodile.
The second gameplay video featured Zoro, Sanji and Nami. They can be seen fighting against Franky, Chopper and Ace.
According to Vine Report, the first "One Piece: Burning Blood" gameplay trailer included Sabo with the Mera Mera no Mi powers. The publication noted that the footage showed something that may never happen in the manga and anime.
The battle opened with Chopper and Luffy, with the Straw Hat Pirates captain using Haki infused attacks such as the Gomu Gomu no Grizzly Magnum. One of Chopper's new attacks, his new Kung Fu Point, was showcased as well.
Moreover, Luffy's Fourth Gear form, also known as Bound Man, was featured in the gameplay trailer. This form allows his body to use Haki to increase his power levels. Ace, Sabo and Luffy won the battle.
The second "One Piece: Burning Blood" gameplay trailer showed Franky beating Zoro with his beam attacks. Fortunately, Sanji was able to defeat Chopper and Nami took Ace out.
It was previously reported that new support characters have been introduced for the game. Bepo, Dadan, Karoo, Kureha, Laboon, and the Square Sisters are the latest additions to the upcoming fighting game.
These support characters can be used in-battle to help the players in the middle of the match. They can help restore HP in among other character-specific abilities.
"One Piece: Burning Blood" PC, PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One will be available in North America on May 31. It is slated for release on Jun. 3, 2016 in Europe.
