Undoubtedly, Tom Holland's portrayal as "Spider-Man" in the upcoming movie "Captain America" Civil War" is the popular talk of town among MCU enthusiasts and those awaiting the 2016 film. The 19-year-old actor proved that he can bring his A-game in portraying the role when the latest reviews of the Marvel movie show how good the actor was in covering the iconic superhero.
Cinema Blend detailed that because many fans anticipate Holland's portrayal as Spider Man, the young actor may be included in a larger segments of the movie. "Yet now, ComicBook.com is going on record to say that Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has 'reported to the set in Germany,' meaning he might have a larger role than originally anticipated," the outlet noted.
"The site notes that Spider-Man is supposed to sport two different costumes in the movie: one he creates on his own; and one that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) designs for him. With so many heroes in the reported Berlin scenes, ComicBook suggests that this could be the climactic battle that is being filmed, but that's pure speculation."
Holland's introduction as the new Spider-man left many exasperated in surprise. Coveting the title as the new face for the web-slinging superhero, Holland is also now regarded like the late "Heath Ledger's Joker" from the Batman movie. Independent detailed how "The Guardians of The Galaxy" Director James Gunn sees Tom Holland as the "best" Spider-man ever.
"I think Tom Holland is the best Spidey/Peter Parker ever by a country mile," Gunn wrote from Twitter based on the outlet. "It's his own thing. He is to Spidey as Downey is to Iron Man, Ledger was to the Joker, Pratt is to Star-Lord."
The "Thor: The Dark World" filmmaker even added a caption saying, "If I don't like a Marvel movie (or any modern movie) I just say nothing."
Meanwhile, the new trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" released last Mar. 10 featured the war that is continually mounting up between Ironman and Captain America as they are struggling to rescue the city from being destroyed. Also, the trailer ignited excitement when Holland's Spider-Man appeared briefly.
"Captain America: Civil War" will arrive in theaters on May 6, 2016.
