Ex-couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have finally spoken about their divorce. And despite Garner's explosive "tell-all" confession, the 43-year-old "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star has only great words for his ex-wife.
In a recent interview with New York Times, Ben Affleck got candid about his own thoughts and feelings towards Jennifer Garner's "tell-all" confession to Vanity Fair. According to Affleck, his ex-wife is allowed to talk about their relationship.
"She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with," Affleck said. "So she could say, 'Look, I already talked about it-I don't want to do it again. It's fine. She's allowed to talk about it."
In addition, Ben Affleck also stressed that he and Jennifer Garner have maintained an amicable relationship despite their divorce. People even revealed that the ex-couple and their children - 10-year-old Violet, 7-year-old Seraphina and 4-year-old Sam will be having a vacation in Europe when Affleck started to film his upcoming movie, "Justice League."
"Jen's great. She's a great person," Affleck praised his ex-wife. "We're on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that's the reality that I live in."
Meanwhile, 43-year-old Jennifer Garner recently made an explosive confession about her marriage with Ben Affleck. In her "tell-all" interview, the "Miracles from Heaven" actress revealed what she felt when her 10-year marriage was ending in divorce.
"It was a real marriage," she said, as per Daily Mail. "It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work."
Despite what had transpired in their relationship, Jennifer Garner stressed that she never hated Ben Affleck. In fact, she's more than willing to "remake" her decision because Affleck was the love of her life.
"I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him," Garner confessed. "And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had."
"He's the love of my life," she continued. "What am I going to do about that? He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow.'"
